The non-medical half of a Seoul medical trip — the half that determines whether the experience feels considered or chaotic.
Visa: C-3-3 medical, not the standard tourist line
Indonesian passport holders are eligible for the C-3-3 short-term medical treatment visa, processed through accredited Korean medical institutions. For longer treatment courses or accompanying family, the G-1 visa applies. Miroa arranges all documentation; no embassy queue is necessary for our patients.
Privacy: discretion is structural, not aspirational
We never publish patient names, identifiable photographs, or itinerary detail. Clinic staff are briefed on alias protocols where requested. Vehicles and arrival timings are arranged to avoid clinic frontages where paparazzi or known industry-watchers gather. NDAs cover every Miroa team member who interacts with your file.
Accommodation: where we actually book
- Recovery (post-surgical): a private serviced residence in Apgujeong with on-site nurse access — not a hotel.
- Non-surgical visits: Park Hyatt Seoul, Four Seasons Seoul, or Signiel Seoul depending on preference.
- Family accompanying: connecting suites or adjacent residences within the same building.
Companions
A bilingual concierge — fluent in Bahasa, Mandarin, English, and Korean — accompanies every clinic visit and every consultation. Not a translator. A medically-briefed advocate who knows your case, your surgeon, and your preferences. One concierge per family for the duration of the stay.
Halal, dietary, religious
Halal meal coordination across the recovery period, including in-residence catering and pre-arranged Halal-certified restaurants. Prayer time and Friday accommodations integrated into the schedule. We arrange these defaults; you do not need to ask.
The medical part is the surgeon's job. Everything else is ours.
