Recovery in Seoul, continuity in Jakarta: a 12-month timeline
What a Miroa year actually looks like — month by month, from your first consultation through the post-procedure year that determines whether the work holds.

Most agencies close the file at the airport. Miroa opens it there. The single biggest predictor of a good long-term outcome from Korean medical-aesthetic work is structured aftercare — and structured aftercare is exactly what is missing from the marketplace model.
Month 0 — Seoul
Procedure week. Hospital stay where indicated, then 3–10 days at our recovery hotel in Gangnam with 24-hour bilingual care. By the time you board your flight home, your concierge has already briefed your Indonesian partner clinic with the full surgical or protocol notes.
Month 1 — first Indonesian touchpoint
A scheduled visit at your partner clinic in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Medan or Makassar. Suture or scar review for surgical patients; barrier and product re-stocking for non-surgical patients. Photo log compared against Seoul baseline.
Months 2–6 — peak healing window
Monthly partner-clinic touchpoints. For surgical patients: lymphatic drainage, scar protocols, gradual return to full activity. For ECM/Re20 patients: monthly maintenance using the same Korean product lines. Your concierge stays in WhatsApp contact between visits.
Months 7–12 — settled result
Quarterly check-ins. Final-result photography. Annual diagnostic — barrier function, bio-age, structural review — that becomes the baseline for any future work. Many patients use this point to plan a second, lighter Seoul visit.
Why this works
- Same product line in Jakarta as in Seoul — no protocol drift.
- Indonesian clinicians briefed on your specific surgeon's technique.
- Single point of contact (your Miroa manager) for any concern.
- Photo log shared between Seoul and Indonesian teams.
- Defined escalation path if anything looks unusual.
The work is done in Seoul. The result is decided in the year that follows.
