The eye smile, precisely placed.
Aegyo sal is the small ridge of soft fullness under the lower lash line that lights up when you smile. The mistake is overdoing it — Korean injectors are world-class because they know the difference between an eye smile and an eye bag.

- Patients wanting a softer, warmer eye expression
- Brides preparing for wedding photography
- Indonesian patients with naturally flat lower-lid contour
- Anyone who has been told their eyes look 'tired' or 'flat'
Aegyo sal originated in Korean beauty culture — Seoul injectors have a 15-year head start on technique, product selection, and placement depth. The hallmark is filler that disappears when the face is at rest and emerges only on smile.
What it actually costs in Seoul.
All-in pricing: clinic fee, Miroa concierge, bilingual escort, and one Jakarta continuity visit. Filler products used are Allergan, Galderma, or LG Chem — disclosed before booking.

10–20 minutes in-clinic. Micro-cannula, minimal bruising. Flat for an hour, then natural.
Slight pinpoint redness possible; concealer covers it. Avoid sauna and heavy alcohol.
Sutures removed. Mild bruising fading. Glasses or light makeup conceal.
Filler softens to final shape at week 2. Surgical result settles at month 2.
Filler refresh at month 10–12 can be done with our Jakarta partners using the same product line — no need to fly back to Seoul for maintenance.

Felt her eyes looked 'serious' in photos, especially without makeup. Wanted softness without changing eyelid shape.
0.5ml of Belotero per eye, pretarsal-only placement, micro-cannula. She flew home the next morning. Six months in, the only comment from friends: 'You look happy.'
What is aegyo sal?
Aegyo sal (애교살) is the soft 'eye smile' fullness directly under the lower lashes — a Korean beauty signature associated with youth and warmth. It's a small ridge of pretarsal fat or filler, never a bag.
Filler vs. surgery — which should I choose?
Hyaluronic-acid filler is the right answer for 90% of patients: 10 minutes, no downtime, results last 9–14 months. Surgical aegyo sal (dermal-fat graft or muscle-shaping) is reserved for patients who want permanence or whose anatomy doesn't hold filler well.
Will it look 'puffy' or unnatural?
Not when done correctly. Korean injectors use micro-cannula, low-G' fillers (Belotero, Restylane Kysse), and pretarsal-only placement — never tear-trough. The ridge should appear only when you smile.
How quickly can I fly home?
Filler: same day. Surgical: 5–7 days for suture removal. Both are easily concealed with light makeup from day 2.
Is aegyo sal suitable for Indonesian skin and eyes?
Yes — and arguably more flattering than on Western eyes, because Southeast Asian eye shapes accentuate the smile-line beautifully. Korean injectors regularly tailor placement for Indonesian patients.
