What you're paying for

Where the dollars actually go.

  • Technique — non-incisional is fastest recovery; incisional is permanent and corrects skin laxity
  • Combined work — double-eyelid + ptosis + aegyo sal is the most-requested bundle
  • Asian-eye specialism — Korean surgeons train specifically on Asian periorbital anatomy
  • Revision risk — Korean revision eyelid practice is the most active in the world

Factors that move the price

Why two patients can pay very different prices.

Technique

Non-incisional is ~half the price of full incisional and corrects no skin laxity.

Bundling

Doing eyelid + aegyo sal in one session is ~25% cheaper than two separate operations.

Surgeon

Top Korean eyelid surgeons sit in a small bench of around 20 names — their pricing is firm.

Revision history

Revision eyelid in Korea is its own subspecialty and prices 30–50% above primary.

Cost questions, answered

What is aegyo sal?

Aegyo sal (애교살, 'charming fat') is a slight under-eye fullness that creates a youthful, smiling expression. It's added with hyaluronic acid filler or a small fat graft, often combined with double-eyelid surgery.

How long do I need in Seoul?

6 nights for incisional surgery, 4 for non-incisional. We schedule suture removal before you fly home.

Will my eyes look 'done'?

Korean eyelid aesthetic prioritises natural — your colleagues should think you slept well, not that you had surgery. We share before/after sets at consultation.

Is canthoplasty risky?

It's a subspecialty surgery. Performed by an experienced canthoplasty surgeon at Miroa's tier-1 partners, complication rates are low, but it's why we restrict this procedure to a smaller list of surgeons.
